Met die kerstyd wat vinnig oppad is besef mens keer op keer hoe geseend mens is. Die jaar was ons 3 de jaar as n gerigistreerde besigheid, van ons kliente (wat teen die tyd soos vriende is) ken ons al n paar jaar voor ons die besigheid gerigistreer het! Dit is wondelik om met kliente soos julle te werk, om kliente te he wat keer op keer ons skakel en nog iets gedoen wil he. Dit is wondelik om te weet Adriaan se werk is so goeie kwaliteit dat ons kliente/vriende niemand anders vertrou met werk wat hulle gedoen wil he as Adriaan. Soms gaan dit maar bietjie mal soos nou, wat ons vooruitgeboek is seker tot in die nuwe jaar en elke persoon wat ons kontak soek hulle werk nog die jaar voltooi. Dankie aan al ons kliente/vriende wat by ons staan vir die laaste 8 jaar vandat ons begin houtwerk doen het.

With the festive season approaching so fast one realises once again how blessed we are. This year was our 3rd year as a registered business, some of our clients (they feel like friends by now) know us since before we registered the company. It is wonderful to work with clients like you, you call us every time you need additional work done. It is wonderful to know Adriaans work is of such a high quality that you prefer to use only him when you have work that needs to be done. Sometimes it is a little crazy, like now we are fully booked till the new year and every one that calls us for a quote wants the work done before Christmas.
Thanks to all our clients/friends that we can help with cupboards, thank you to all our clients that stuck with us for 8 years since we started doing woodwork.

Why does fixing someone else's mess always cost more than the original quote? we go to quote on a kitchen client decides to use the quote that is R 2000 cheaper the cheaper quote ends up having too little wood or something like that price gets given client decides to pay say R4000 more to complete the job because the client wants the kitchen done, after paying R4000 extra the cheaper quote never comes to complete the work client cannot contact the cheaper quotation as they have no additional information for the cheaper quote, they only have a name and maybe a company name, maybe the payment was made cash or one of the other temporary banking ways that you do not have a bank account number to make a fraud case, even if you have it it is considered a waste of time to even report it as nothing gets done about it, cheaper quote gets his money nothing gets done about it and the client loses all is money and gets stuck with the mess. what now the house is a total mess the work has not been completed the client is unhappy but the kitchen needs to be done. That is when the call us AMS Woodworx comes too please come and fix this mess. Adriaan goes to see what is the problem? OK the cupboards are skew, the units are not build to our standards, he gives his price after feeling sorry for the client tries to keep costs low but we cannot work for free and the lower quote made a total mess of the kitchen. sadly we need to charge say R5000 if it is that cheap to try and salvage what cheaper quote left for us to work with. This is a story we have on a daily basis. PLEASE listen to me when I Tell you this! we get it on a daily basis. Go and look at the persons work before you decide to pay him, get his address get his banking details get is ID (That is not always a thing to say you have the correct ID as that can be a falsified ID) We hear how nice the cheaper quote was how you felt empathy towards him, his sales pitch was amazing, these people need to be slick as they have now other way of getting the clients money.
